Liverpool serviced Apartments are now in my view a much better option than any Liverpool Hotel’s. We have more space, flexibility due to our kitchens’s, we even give a better service as you can view on Trip Advisor as the top six accommodation providers are all serviced apartments
The measure for this can be found on trip Advisor where you can see that Liverpool Hotels are lagging behind their new competition. Serviced apartments are new and due to this they have a much stronger desire to impress and that is why serviced apartments in Liverpool occupy the top six slots on Trip Advisor Liverpool, Huge hotel brands such as the Hilton group and the Radisson have a review rating of just 70%, in essence this equates to just one in three of their clients come away from their hotel actually unhappy with their Hotel.
Signature Living which is just 2 years old has has a Trip Advisor rating of 99.8%. Liverpool Hotels really do need to stop hiding behind the might of their brand and start to understand what their clients really want.
Why do Hotel’s keep the detail of their accommodation to the bare minimum. There are no reasonable excuse’s that they can find to justify the scant information that they offer on their web site’s. With technology moving at such a fast pace, they really do need to catch up. I no longer want to be surprised or flabbergasted at the decor or the view, I simply want to be aware at the time of booking my accommodation, what I am paying for. The last time I stayed at a Hotel, I couldn’t believe the appalling view that greeted me. I even asked the clerk at the booking in desk, before I booked in what my view was like.
His reply was that I had a good view.
I’m sure you are aware what came next, my view was of a 20 foot skip positioned 10 feet from my window filled with decaying food.
My issue apart from the obvious is this. I should have been made aware at the time of booking that the suite that I had booked had a very poor view and at this point I should have been offered a discount, then it would have been my decision as to whether I stayed there or not, but sadly they never told me anything, they simply tried to do what they always do and get away it, after all how many people would just simply accept their view and continue on with their holiday.
I accept that all Hotel’s can have poor accommodation within their properties, but they really do need to disclose this and as a result of their lack of communication I will not be going back.
